Ellie’s First Mother’s Day

Surf Ambassador, Ellie Brooks is pregnant with her first child. This Mother's Day, we asked her a few questions and followed her around her hometown. Ellie discussed with us what she's most looking forward to and navigating her surfing journey through the pregnancy. What are you most excited about becoming a mum?

The thing i'm most excited about becoming a mum, all the adventures we get to go on with him. Seeing what Woody and I have created together. All the first little moments like his first smile and his first laugh and steps.

How are you navigating being pregnant and your career in surfing?

Navigating my surfing career whilst being pregnant was initially a little daunting. I'm lucky that I've been healthy and well and still surfing and active and that I've got a lot of good support around me, and that's only for a couple of months, we're in the last trimester and we'll be back before you know it.

Whether you're an athlete or surfing or not, it's change and that can be scary, but it's also just as rewarding adapting to the challenge and knowing that you have a little blessing at the end of it.

What is your favourite Brixton set to lounge in during your pregnancy?

My favourite Brixton set to lounge in is the Mykonos checkered set. It stretches with me as I grow bigger.

How would you describe your personal style and what is a wardrobe essential for you?

My current style at the moment would have to be comfy but cute, with a pop of colour. And anything blue.
